Emergency Management » Training

The BCRC, through its connection with the Local Emergency Planning Committee, facilitates training and exercises throughout the region. Annually, the LEPC sponsors either a tabletop or a full-scale exercise involving first responders and other key personnel. Often, much of the planning for such an exercise is done by the BCRC. Additionally, the BCRC and LEPC sponsor trainings for emergency responders and others, such as the Emergency Management Director’s training, National Incident Management System (NIMS) training, and Incident Command System (ICS) training.
