All municipalities are required to have a Basic Emergency Operations Plan, which is normally compiled as a joint effort between the appointed Emergency Management Director and municipal staff. This plan provides a listing of resources, contact information to utilize in an emergency, and incident forms. A local declaration of emergency is also included at the end of the plan.
