Agricultural Land Use Planning Guides Released

The Farm to Plate Network's Agricultural Land Use Planning Task Force has prepared an update to the “Sustaining Agriculture” Guide, originally developed in 1994. The updated guide provides information and resources on new issues like food system planning, agripreneurism, and composting, while giving detailed guidance on historically important issues covered in the original like farmland conservation, farmland and taxes, and land use regulations. These topics are covered in five short modules: food system planning, land conservation, farmland and property taxes, local regulations, and state regulations. Click to access the module at the Farm to Plate website.
